Queen Cultural Pageant 2006

The Cultural Pageant of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, is an annual event that provides its candidates with a learning experience as well as an opportunity to develop their pride for their culture, language and heritage. It also attracts young women (18 to 25 years old) to compete for the prizes that accompany the title and crown. Throughout the year, the queen will represent the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, Inc. at many events; on the day of the Parade along Fifth Avenue, she will ride aboard the float reserved for our Queen.
